Investigate the masked individuals acting as law enforcement agents

To: Rep. Turner, Sen. Moreno, Sen. Husted

From: A constituent in Oakwood, OH

June 4, 2025

I am writing as a concerned citizen deeply alarmed by recent and repeated sightings of individuals operating in tactical gear with their faces covered, wearing no badges, no identifying agency patches, and offering no credentials—yet clearly performing law enforcement functions in public spaces. As a tax-paying citizen, I demand answers to the following: 1. Who are these individuals? Are they officially employed by a government agency If so, which one, and why are they not displaying identification? 2. What is the legal authority under which they are operating? If they are federal agents, which statute or emergency authorization allows them to obscure their identities? 3. Has your office cross-referenced them with any individuals involved in the January 6th insurrection or known extremist groups such as the Proud Boys or Oath Keepers? 4. Have they undergone official federal training, licensing, and background checks? If not, their deployment may constitute impersonation of federal agents—a federal crime. 5. Have these individuals been screened for affiliation with extremist groups? Many domestic terrorists now attempt to infiltrate law enforcement, and this raises serious public safety concerns. The American people deserve accountability, transparency, and assurance that our safety is in the hands of legitimate, trained, and vetted professionals—not vigilantes or extremists hiding behind masks and body armor. Please provide a full explanation, investigation, or statement to clarify this matter.
