Removal of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Following Evidence of Perjury
To: Sen. Husted, Sen. Moreno
From: A verified voter in Columbus, OH
February 13
I am writing to you today as your constituent to express my outrage regarding the recent revelations that HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. provided false testimony during his Senate confirmation process.
Last year, during his hearings before the Finance and HELP committees, Mr. Kennedy repeatedly claimed his 2019 trip to Samoa was unrelated to vaccines. Information made public on February 6, 2026, including internal State Department and UN communications, proves this testimony was false. These documents confirm that Mr. Kennedy traveled to Samoa specifically to raise "concerns" about vaccines, a move that local officials say bolstered anti-vaccine sentiment and led to a measles outbreak that killed 83 people.
The Senate’s "advice and consent" role is rendered meaningless if nominees are permitted to lie to you without consequence. By misleading this body, Secretary Kennedy has committed an impeachable offense and demonstrated a total lack of the integrity required for his office.
As my representative in the Senate, I ask you to join the growing bipartisan call for his removal. Whether through a demand for his resignation or a trial for his removal from office, it is your duty to ensure that our public health leaders are honest, capable, and committed to saving lives—not endangering them.
I look forward to hearing how you intend to address this breach of Congressional integrity.
