I am writing to express my displeasure with the current administration’s actions and the FAILURE of those of you in Congress to do anything about it! So- now the corrupt administration has levied a criminal investigation against Jerome Powell at the Federal Reserve claiming he has misappropriated funds in the 2.5 billion renovation of historic Federal Reserve buildings- even though Mr. Powell has routinely reported the progress of the project to Congress as required by law. This is rich considering our corrupt president leveled the entire east wing of the HISTORIC White House presumably in response to the great turnout of people in the No Kings Day rallies across the nation. I have read he also has plans to make alterations to the West Wing of the White House to make it consistent with his proposed ballroom where the East Wing used to be. All of this is without congressional oversight or involvement of persons who would ensure proper preservation of historical artifacts or compliance with safety regulations as required by law. Mr. Powell noted in his rebuttal for this criminal investigation that it is due to his refusal to bend to the current president’s demands that he immediately reduce interest rates per his wishes. Meanwhile- the Epstein files have NOT been released as required by the Epstein Transparency Act. And- our current president- who cannot effectively govern our own country- is posting on his social media accounts that HE is now the president of Venezuela. When will you TAKE A STAND to UPHOLD THE RULE OF LAW and DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTION!!! You took an oath to do so when you were sworn into office. It is PAST TIME to stop cowering in the shadows and stand up for the constituents that you vowed to serve!!
