Co-sponsor the Scientific Integrity Act, H.R. 1106, and push back on the politically motivated interference that Russell Vought and the OMB are using to undermine federal science. Policy decisions that affect public health, the environment, and national security must be grounded in evidence — not shaped by ideological pressure from budget officials with no scientific expertise. Scientists employed by the federal government should be the ones making scientific determinations. When political appointees override or suppress their findings, the damage isn't abstract — it corrupts the research that informs everything from drug safety to climate preparedness. H.R. 1106 would establish enforceable protections so that scientific conclusions can't be manipulated before they reach policymakers or the public. This is not a partisan issue. Reliable science is the foundation of good governance. Co-sponsor H.R. 1106 and make clear that federal researchers will be protected from political interference.
