The alarming resurgence of the neo-Nazi group "The Base" presents an urgent threat to national security and our democratic values. Their blatant efforts to grow their ranks and conduct paramilitary training on American soil, emboldened by the current regime's blind eye, are unacceptable. We cannot stand idly by as this vile organization actively seeks to expand its hateful ideology and terroristic activities within our borders. The Trump administration and FBI Director Kash Patel have abdicated their responsibility to protect Americans from this grave domestic terrorism threat by deprioritizing investigations into far-right extremism. Their dereliction of duty has created an environment where hate groups like The Base feel empowered to operate with impunity. Hate has no place in our society. I urge the Congress Member to 1. Enact legislation to classify The Base as a domestic terrorist organization and allocate resources to dismantle their network; 2. Strengthen laws to combat hate crimes and extremist activities; 3. Conduct rigorous oversight to ensure law enforcement agencies are appropriately prioritizing the dangers posed by white supremacist groups. Thank you for your time and consideration.
