Co-sponsor and actively champion Senator Sanders' Medicare for All Act. The current system is broken — tens of millions of Americans are uninsured or underinsured, and medical debt is the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in this country. We don't need more half-measures; we need a single-payer system that covers everyone. Medicare for All would eliminate premiums, deductibles, and copays, replacing them with a publicly funded system that covers every person in the United States. Other wealthy nations have proven this works. The only people who lose under this bill are insurance executives and pharmaceutical middlemen — not patients, not doctors, not working families. I expect you to stand on the right side of this and push hard for its passage.
