President Trump and Vice President Vance's deplorable conduct towards President Zelenskyy during their Oval Office meeting was a shameful display of immaturity and disrespect for a nation bravely defending itself against Russian aggression. Their unwarranted attacks on Zelenskyy, accusing him of jeopardizing global peace while ignoring Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine, amount to regurgitating Kremlin propaganda. This behavior aligns them squarely with the interests of Putin rather than upholding American values of democracy and sovereignty. We must condemn these actions that only embolden authoritarianism and undermine our nation's credibility on the world stage. I urge a firm rebuke of such unconscionable behavior from our leadership and renewed, unwavering support for the Ukrainian people's struggle for self-determination.
