Vote Yes on the War Powers Resolution — End the Iran War Now

To: Sen. Wicker, Sen. Hyde-Smith

From: A verified voter in Starkville, MS

June 4

When the war powers resolution comes to a Senate vote, I expect you to vote yes. This war has not made us safer. It started with U.S. aggression that killed over 150 children, and every escalation since has deepened a catastrophe with no clear objective, no exit strategy, and a mounting cost in lives and dollars that Americans never consented to. Doubling down on this war will not bring stability. It will fuel the next generation of terrorism and push us closer to a broader regional conflict with WWIII-level consequences. A 64% majority of voters already believe this war was a mistake. The House passed a war powers resolution 215-208 — the Senate must follow. Accountability matters too. Restoring stability in the region requires confronting what has been done, not burying it. That means demanding accountability for civilian deaths and war crimes, and pressing for a halt to aggression from both the U.S. and Israel. There is no path to peace that skips past justice. Vote yes.
