I encourage you, in the strongest possible terms, to block the paramount/wb merger. It will be disastrous for competition in the film industry. The combined entity will make up 40% of the entire industry, and if we care about competition we should acknowledge how bad that will be. Films will be far less likely to make it to physical media, likely getting streaming only releases, where they are not safe and can disappear forever. There will also be more likelihood of layoffs in states with large film industries, including Texas.
