No boots on the ground.!The logistics are bad if they are looking to seize the partially enriched uranium Iran has.
First of all, how good is the intelligence as to where it is stored? The best guesses put it 300 miles inland. That is a big distance to try to fly troops in. If the idea is to fight our way across Iran to get to it, it would take months and probably cost thousands of lives. In the meantime they could relocate it further away.
Then, if the uranium is buried 100s of feet under the surface, heavy equipment would be needed to excavate.
I don’t believe it could be accomplished in an acceptable period of time and at an acceptable cost of lives . We have already sacrificed too many for Trump’s Folly, carried out with too little planning.
No $200 billion more for the war, no more lives!
