As an uncompromising ideologue who cannot distinguish legitimate opposition from perceived enemies, he poses a grave risk to American democracy and civil liberties if placed in charge of the military. His confirmation would be a threat to the nation. Therefore, I urge you to reject his nomination and instead support a qualified, level-headed appointee who respects democratic norms and the rule of law. The Defense Department requires stable, principled leadership committed to protecting all Americans' rights, not an unhinged partisan footsoldier. For the good of the country, do not allow this dangerous nominee to be confirmed.
