Dear Senator, I write again to express my immense disappointment in your support of S.1071. In this bill, under the cudgel and lies about "national security" was tucked in a deplorable anti-transgendered persons clause. SEC. 559A. PROHIBITION ON PARTICIPATION OF MALES IN ATHLETIC PROGRAMS OR ACTIVITIES AT THE MILITARY SERVICE ACADEMIES THAT ARE DESIGNATED FOR WOMEN OR GIRLS. SURELY, your clerks and yourself saw this section. You should have immediately demanded a clean bill, and railed against the Republicans continued efforts to erase and degrade transgendered persons. Your lack of courage on this issue is truly revolting. I hope that every transgendered child contemplating suicide out there are in your thoughts, haunting you. This is a shameful vote for a shameful bill for a shameful political majority.
