DO NOT ELIMINATE PEACE CORPS FUNDING: As Congress prepares to consider H.R. 8595, the FY27 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs (NSRP) appropriations bill, Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) has filed Amendment #137, which would eliminate the Peace Corps' entire $410.5 million appropriation. The United States and our partner Peace Corps Countries benefit greatly from the goodwill and results that this program delivers. The return on investment is also likely one of the best in the entire US Government. Do not vote yes on this amendment!
