Please Vote NO on the SAVE Act

To: Sen. Johnson, Sen. Baldwin, Rep. Fitzgerald

From: A constituent in Waukesha, WI

March 18

I'm a wife, a mom, and a full-time church staff member in Waukesha, Wisconsin — and I'm asking you to please vote NO on the SAVE Act. I believe deeply that only eligible citizens should vote. But that's already the law. Noncitizen voting is already illegal, and the evidence shows it's extraordinarily rare. As just one example, a review of over 2 million voters in Utah found just one confirmed case of noncitizen registration — and zero instances of noncitizen voting. What this bill would actually do is make it harder for real Americans to vote. Nearly 1 in 10 eligible voters don't have easy access to the documents this law would require. When Kansas passed something similar, it blocked 31,000 legitimate citizens from registering — far more than the noncitizens it stopped. That's not protecting elections. That's undermining them. As someone who cares deeply about this community and the people in it, I want every eligible American's voice to count in every election. Please vote NO on the SAVE America Act. Thank you for representing us and the very hard work I know you do each day.
