Trump now admits that he is enacting Project 2025. He disavowed it during his campaign. Republicans have proven time and again that they are unreliable partners. He has defunded programs that were funded by Congress. He is admitting that Project 2025 is his guide. Why should Democrats trust anything Republicans say? Project 2025 aims to gut healthcare for Americans. Full stop. Are you going to protect your Constituents? If not, what is the point of us having representatives? We don't elect you so that you can do the bidding of big donors. We elect you to represent us. My point is, that the Repbulicans are saying that the Democrats need to vote to end the shutdown and that they will negotiate later about healthcare. I call BS on that! Republicans have no intention of fixing or improving healthcare. Project 2025 aims to rid us of the Constitution. Project 2025 is for the wealthy and the rest of us are meant to suffer and pay taxes. What is the point of having representatives and what is the point of paying taxes if it won't benefit us? The billionaires don't need anything else. They are fine. They are greedy and they want us to fund their ascension to trillionaire status. What are you going to do about it? Do better. Stop the Mad King and stop Project 2025.
