Epstein files were discussed in the White House Situation Room?

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. Van Duyne, Sen. Cornyn

From: A constituent in Dallas, TX

June 12

Several recent media stories have detailed this Republican administration, including the president’s top advisors, convening in the White House Situation Room to discuss how best to respond to information in the Jeffery Epstein child sex-trafficking files. Historically, the Situation Room has served as a secure location where presidents could receive up-to-the-minute intelligence during national emergencies. Does the president’s, and others’, inclusion in those files constitute a national crisis caused by long friendships with Jeffrey Epstein? For those attending the meeting, what, exactly, are they trying to hide? If their goal was to hide the commission of child-prostitution and blackmail, why are those people not considered co-conspirators? You, as a member of Congress, have the power to demand answers to those questions. You, as a Republican, have the duty to demand answers from this Republican administration. To not do so is to be complicit in those crimes. My wife and I ask you to demand answers to those questions, especially since these matters clearly amount to a national emergency.
