Nevadans Deserve a Voice on Public Land Sales
To: Rep. Amodei
From: A verified voter in Reno, NV
May 11
I am deeply disheartened to learn of your support for selling off large tracts of public land here in Nevada. These lands belong to the people—not to private interests or political donors—and any effort to sell them should demand full transparency and public input.
What’s more disappointing is your decision to move forward without first engaging the very constituents you claim to represent. Nevadans deserve to be heard before decisions of this magnitude are made, and your failure to open this up for public comment is unacceptable.
I urge you to come home to Reno and face the people of your district. Host a town hall. Take questions. Listen.
I look forward to your response and, more importantly, to hearing you explain your actions directly to the community you were elected to serve.
