I am alarmed about the Trump administration’s unauthorized military strikes in Venezuela and dangerous escalation toward an illegal and unnecessary war. I ask that you immediately pass a war powers resolution to block all unauthorized strikes or military action in Venezuela and hold public hearings to investigate the legality and justification for the administration’s aggressive use of military force.
