Your statement supporting Netanyahu and calling the ICC warrant outrageous is in itself outrageous. What Hamas did on October 7th was despicable and depraved. Netanyahu, in pursuing a policy of complete destruction of Gaza, starving people, unwilling to let humanitarian aid in, bombing so many innocents as well as claiming the West Bank as Samaria and Judea and allowing the settlers and the IDF to terrorize and commit acts of extreme violence against the Palestinian population of the West Bank and hope they will “self-deport” is committing acts that are just as despicable and (for a Jew) depraved. I am so disheartened that you are not pursuing a real and lasting ceasefire and the return of the hostages. I say this as a Jew who has been horrified by what Israeli governments have done since Sadat came in peace to Jerusalem and in support of all those Israeli citizens and Jews who want peace in the Levant, respect for human rights and dignity of everyone. I’m so saddened that you are still unwilling to really sue for peace even in the last days of your presidency. There is so much you can still do in Israel and in the US to help so many to “sit under their vine and under their fig tree and none shall make them afraid “
