Now that Jay Clayton has been advanced out of the Intelligence Committee, I am writing to ask the Senator to vote down his nomination. He has no national security experience, has dishonestly and dangerously cast doubt on the integrity of our elections, and has tried to stand in the way of reporters doing their jobs. While he's better than Bill Pulte, he is still unfit and unqualified for the job of Director of National Intelligence. I believe it is also imperative to defeat the nomination of Sean Kaufman for any role at HHS. The mRNA vaccines have been one of the most significant medical advances in this century; he opposes them. He is a vaccine skeptic and rejects vaccinating against covid and hepatitis B, and probably against measles as well. RFK Jr. is already moving the nation's ability to protect Americans' health back a century; we must not have other equally ignorant, backwards and downright wacky thinkers put in charge of public health. Vote down Clayton; vote down Kaufman. Thank you.
