I am writing to urge you to support articles of impeachment against Attorney General Pam Bondi. Instead of protecting the American people, she has abused her authority to shield predators, attack Trump's political enemies, and ignore the rule of law. She cannot be trusted to lead our Department of Justice. Under Bondi's leadership, the DOJ has opened a criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell as part of a campaign to influence interest rate decisions. This represents a direct assault on the independence of our central bank, which is essential to economic stability. The DOJ has also launched an investigation into Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, further politicizing monetary policy. The Attorney General has dropped charges against former NYC mayor Eric Adams and Trump's co-defendants in the classified documents case while simultaneously opening criminal investigations into perceived political rivals including former CIA director John Brennan and New York Attorney General Letitia James. The FBI raided the home of John Bolton, Trump's former national security advisor who became a critic. The DOJ closed a bribery investigation into border czar Tom Homan, who allegedly accepted cash from undercover FBI agents. Bondi has fired the director of the Department of Ethics Office, at least three January 6 prosecutors, and 20 DOJ prosecutors who assisted Special Counsel Jack Smith. She forced out top career prosecutor Erik Siebert and attempted to replace him with Trump's personal attorney Lindsey Halligan, who then indicted former FBI director James Comey. A federal judge dismissed that indictment, ruling Halligan's appointment invalid. When a whistleblower reported officials encouraging DOJ lawyers to defy court orders, the department fired and discredited that individual. The Department of Justice exists to ensure American safety and security by upholding the law equally. Bondi has weaponized it for political revenge. I ask you to support her impeachment and restore integrity to this critical institution.
