Support BWH nurses to prevent a strike

To: Rep. Ultrino, Gov. Healey, Sen. Lewis

From: A constituent in Malden, MA

October 5

I’m writing to urge you to publicly support the Brigham and Women’s Hospital nurses and call Mass General Brigham leadership directly to help avoid the indefinite strike scheduled to begin October 14. Brigham nurses have repeatedly offered to negotiate. MGB should return to the bargaining table immediately, with no preconditions and no demand that nurses concede major issues before bargaining even begins. Please urge MGB to negotiate a fair contract that protects patient care, respects nurses, provides affordable health insurance and supports a strong permanent nursing workforce. Will you publicly stand with Brigham nurses and call MGB to demand meaningful bargaining before October 14?
