The problem with Trump appointing, and the republicans in the senate unquestioningly confirming, Trump’s objectively terrible cabinet members is that now there is no one giving the least knowledgeable administration any good advice. This is very clear in everything that has happened lately, but especially with the absolute horrifyingly bad idea someone had to bomb Iran. These people have no business leading a country, let alone one as powerful as the US. They shouldn’t be in charge of a Walmart. Insist on quality, not sycophants. Our peace and security depends on them.
