Trump taking charge of THE KENNEDY CENTER??? Sure there are bigger immediate concerns…but this is ridiculous. An overreach. He is trying to impose HIS tastes on art. He will limit who can perform there and no doubt limit the reach of artists of color, minorities and women. It’s beneath the office of the president to be so petty about ART.
This is a petty and vindictive president; I get that. He is likely doing this to “own the libs” or some such nonsense.
It’s not nearly as important as stopping Muskollini’s takeover of the Treasury — or the erosion of the NIH, CDC or Dept of Education — but it’s important to protect the arts!
Please implore the correct people to fight this abuse of power. And let us know how we can help.
