Resistbot is live in the App Store

On this WWDC day in 2021 we're excited to announce the release of our first iOS app! Built by volunteers, this app is specifically for activists and organizers who more easily want to get the word out about popular campaigns on Resistbot.

Our first release is a quick, easy, and simple app that you can use to browse top campaigns, and share with your phone's contacts—something that isn't possible in the chat bot—as well as your favorite social media channels. With the inviteAsk your friends to join Resistbot! keyword in the chat bot, one had to enter phone numbers and email addresses one at a time—no longer!

Want to get your campaign into the app? Just create a petition of your own, and get it going with some signatures. The campaigns listed are the top petitions in the last 24 hours. Soon we'll be rolling out vote drives into to the app so you can more easily drive votes in the races you care about, and the ability to monitor custom petition codes. For now, we hope you'll give it a download, and give us some feedback; especially if you're a local activist or organizer.

This app isn't made to replace Resistbot the chat bot, but to complement it to more easily help bring your friends onboard. Ten signers for a campaign is a lot more impactful than you writing ten letters. So get going, drive impact for what you care about, it only takes two minutes to make a difference. Our democracy depends on it.
