COVID data completeness and transparency

Congress must enact a law that mandates transparency in reporting COVID-19 cases and associated outcomes and captures these data in a national database. I am appalled and frightened by the WH administration's shameless decision to remove the CDC from the data stream, and leaving these decisions to the states is resulting in dangerous secrecy around case counts and outcomes. We are in a free-fall and managing this health crisis as though we are a developing nation, rather than one of the most scientifically advanced and well-resourced nations on the planet.
