We must support our citizens during this hard economic time. We are quite possibly, only in the beginning of the economic hardships. We must continue to support people with unemployment. And the federal coffers are the deepest to do this. A small number of people will be able to pivot to a new role. Many will need unemployment to help keep them afloat if they are able to train for a new industry. Many have physical, health, family, geographic, etc. limitations that hamper their ability to just pickup another job. And if they do, it is often likely to pay less! Please ensure that Congress does not abandon these hardworking citizens. People want to work but it's our responsibility to not abandon them during this tremendous upheaval!
