What to say when presented with information we all expected was true...but that’s the way things are in Mr. Trump’s world. Outrageous is normal and what do you expect from him, he is what he is.
What a low bar he commands. A low bar provided and reinforced by you and yours.
But the NYT clearly and thoroughly exposes the moment when Donald Trump's "Art of the Deal" fabulism, billionaire tycoon bluster and populist standard-bearing for forgotten Americans was revealed to be what it always looked like: a sham. A hoax. A delusion.
We all know the GOP likes nothing better than avoiding paying into America’s coffers. (Even though America supplies your current job.) And we know y’all love a tax cut more than your dog. And I suppose you can come out swinging that Mr. Trump is just abusing, I mean using, the system like any smart person would.
But we common folk would disagree. Nothing hits home like the idea of someone not paying their fair share. And the GOP, the party of personal responsibility in all things, is long overdue in applying that attribute to their own president.
Instead you’ll have to come up with new rationale to support a presidential scofflaw. Who screams about how America gets screwed by everyone, while forgetting to include himself as one of those doing the screwing.

This is patriotism? This is America First?
And you’ll have to figure out how to ignore the obvious-to-most fact that the man elected for his business acumen is instead a financial flop, again and again and again.
But at least his failures have allowed him to game the country. So there’s that.
So good luck with the further degradation of your soul while you try to figure out how to give your guy four more undeserved years destroying the country...so he can stay out of jail.
