I am writing to demand that you save the Postal Service by supporting the Delivering for America Act. Trump and his cronies are prepared to let the Postal Service fail if it means they get to keep power -- this bill, which passed in the House and is now sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk would save this vital service. I do not need to tell you how vital the USPS is for seniors, veterans, small businesses and All American families. It is vital infrastructure. Now in this pandemic, still raging in Western NC, I assure you, many will need the option of mailing in an absentee ballot to remain healthy AND participate in our democracy. IF YOU REPRESENT US you will conduct oversight against Trump’s attempts to sabotage the post office and undermine our elections. And DEMAND McConnell bring the Delivering for America Act to the floor for a vote.
