An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Remove Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader

11 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

We the people, petition the Senate to exercise it's constitutional power and remove from office by a two-thirds vote for expulsion, Senator Addison Mitchell "Mitch" McConnell, Jr. of Kentucky for committing "a high misdemeanor, entirely inconsistent with his public duty and trust as a Senator.” Kentucky’s motto is United We Stand, Divided We Fall. A motto that Mitch McConnell has clearly forgotten. Having publicly stated his vow to: Withhold COVID-19 aid from Democratic states and states that he deems are unkind to the President. To force states into bankruptcy rather than allow aid to be provided, he has chosen to harm the American people purely over hyperpartisan. Such dereliction of duty is in direct contradiction to his sworn duty to the American people and has the effect of impeding the normal function of government. For this and other high misdemeanors, we respectfully demand that the Senate begin removal proceedings against Mitch McConnell.
