Earth Day 2020 - Pass the Great American Outdoors Act

Please pass the Great American Outdoors Act to ensure the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) receives the full $900 million that it’s authorized to spend each year. LWCF is our country’s most important program to support close-to-home parks, trails, and wild spaces, and increase access to the outdoors for all Americans. It has a 50-year history of successful, locally-driven conservation that has impacted all of us - from creating ball fields and boat launches in our neighborhoods, to ensuring iconic places like the Grand Canyon and Acadia National Park are protected forever. We need our trees to purify our air. We need our public spaces as peaceful refuges from crises. Now more than ever, it’s clear how important the outdoors are. This 50th Earth Day, will you support the Great American Outdoors Act and ensure the protection of wild places and enhancement of recreation opportunities for all Americans?
