Trump SCOTUS justices should recuse on any election case

Trump has stated that he wants to have his SCOTUS nominee approved before the election so there would be a full court to rule on any legal actions that may arise from the election. In other words he expects “his” associate justices to rule in his favor. To avoid the appearance of any bias or pay for play, shouldn’t his appointees recuse themselves? That would leave a balanced court to rule on a case should it come to that.
