Please implore our president to nationalize the response to Covid-19. Hospitals are crying out for assistance. It is hard to believe that, perhaps, the WH is limiting the response out of greed or a lack of empathy. And you? Further, by not nationalizing the response, the federal government is competing with states for the same products. Just wrong. Where the buck stops nobody knows.
On another note, the legislation must prioritize PEOPLE FIRST. Corporations have mass resources and cash, people don't. Loans for large corporations, grants for small businesses. Wealthy companies that have made massive profits on the backs of Americans are not paying sick leave, and laying off people who are barely making a living at stagnant wages while CEOs have increased their own pay abhorrently. Now they want more. Tell them to dig deep into their coffers. They'll be fine. Workers deserve the bailout this time. Anything else is criminal. Americans are watching. You have a responsibility to serve the people who elected you.
You have a responsibility to our great nation. Or do you only serve the lobbyists? Country over party. People over corporations. NOW.
