Let’s Cut the Tax on Tech

It’s time to Cut the Tax on Tech. We are asking Florida legislators to pass HB 7097 and include a reduction of the Communications Services Tax in the Florida Senate’s budget. Passing this legislation would reduce the tax on the retail sale of communications services and put an estimated $60 million back in the pockets of taxpayers. Florida is currently in the top ten most expensive CST states and burdens Floridians with $1.76 billion in fees. A reduction of this regressive tax would benefit every single Floridian with a cell phone, internet, cable television, or streaming service subscription. Let’s Cut the Tax on Tech!
