An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Police brutality and the future

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

George Floyd was murdered. There's no doubt about it. What are you going to do to change this occurrence? A slap on the wrist isn't enough. Future officers or current should not believe that committing such acts will be blown off. America needs to see action being taken to prevent this. We are upset. We have been for a long time. We don't know what to do. We are outraged on social media, but you all act like you don't see it. But Trump can send out a billion tweets offending us all as Americans, and its covered in the news. This is not a dictatorship. We have needs and wants but until this pandemic hit, we were consumed by making sure we would survive. Paycheck to paycheck, with no one listening to our rage, trying our best to forget that our own country is failing to be as great as we thought it once was. We are a consumer nation because we need a distraction from the harsh reality that we are not as great as we say we are. Please. Do something for us. The people. The large majority of people. Please. We all want to be heard. And appreciated. Thank you
