Stop the attempts to undermine the vote — restore the US Postal Service

Today President Trump openly admitted that he was undermining the US Postal Service by withholding funding so that he could stop mail in voting. He apparently does not care that the USPS provides services other than delivering absentee ballots (which the President is very fond of). It also delivers medicines to veterans and other Americans. It also delivers benefit checks to the elderly and disabled. It also provides a lifeline for rural residents who have little other methods to connect with the wider world. He is doing this in the middle of a pandemic which is claiming American lives each and every day. He is doing this solely for the purpose of suppressing the vote — because he is fully aware of his failed presidency and that he will likely lose the upcoming election if the American people actually get to vote safely, without endangering their lives and the lives of their families. This is utterly corrupt, illegal, and void of all humanity. You, as Congressional leaders, are either complicit in this corruption, or you will do everything within your power to stop this course of action and restore the USPS to its normal levels of operation. Veterans and other patients waiting for their medications are your constituents. The elderly and disabled waiting for their benefit checks are your constituents. It is your sworn duty to serve those people,not to only protect a corrupt president. If nothing else, you must realize that not only are Democratic votes slowed or destroyed — GOP votes are, too. I urge you to do the right thing and act swiftly to stop this. Standing by silently is aiding and abetting corruption. And your constituents, already battered by the nonexistent federal response to the pandemic, deserve better.
