An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Reports of gassing migrants

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

This is very disturbing. Please investigate and stand up if this is true. I received this content in an email today from a DACA/dreamers organization called United We Dream. "We have just confirmed reports that the detention center in Adelanto, CA is using hazardous chemicals as a disinfectant in response to COVID-19 — and we have heard similar practices in camps in Texas and Florida. Up to 50 times a day, agents are directly spraying immigrants with HDQ Neutral, a chemical that is highly poisonous to people and causes chemical burns on the skin and eyes. Detainees have reported blisters, rashes, bleeding, headaches, and body pains in response to the poison. We need to stop this! ICE must release all immigrants from detention camps where they are in danger of dying because of the spread of Covid-19. Join us and send an email to Acting ICE Director Matthew Albence. Demand ICE LET OUR PEOPLE GO!" It was great to see you on Black Lives Matter Plaza this week, Sir. I pray for you and for your health, and as always am proud to be represented by you.
