Robert Redfield, the virologist who heads up the CDC, has failed in his mission to keep the CDC non-political. Directives that the CDC team gave to Smithfield Meat Packing Plant in Sioux Falls, SD, after internal approval, was changed to be non-mandatory and worded as if they were suggestions. This is another US institution that has been discredited in my eyes and the eyes of the world. Redfield must resign! Now Trump has discredited the FBI, CIA, DOJ and now, the CDC.
