The only thing that matters right now is the speed of your response. Please follow our neighbor California and other states in issuing a statewide order to shelter in place. My engineering firm finally let us start working remotely mid-last week, and after a few days I dropped in to the office pick some things up from my desk. I was shocked to see that I was apparently one of only a few taking the opportunity to work from home, even though all of our staff are fully capable of working remotely. Also, last night, I took my dogs for a walk and saw three different households in my neighborhood having guests over. People are not taking the steps needed to flatten the curve on their own. Please issue a shelter in place order so people are forced to protect themselves, their families, coworkers, neighbors, and friends so we don't overload our healthcare system and crash.
