When are you going to start taking the virus seriously? How many cases do we have to have in MO? Do you have a number of deaths you are willing to live with? Counties that had no cases or very few cases are now experiencing cases because you have made light of this virus. By opening up the state with no restrictions, only unenforceable guidance, you have told your constituents that all is well, we are in the clear, go about your business without any protections because you don’t need them. I understand that it’ll be much harder to pull things back now, to put in place guidance that means something. You should have thought of that before you opened the state! But it doesn’t mean you can just ignore the problem. Do the right thing for your constituents! Save the health and lives of your constituents! Provide the guidance—with consequences—that will bring down the cases before school starts and we have an even bigger death toll to contend with.
