Time to grant citizenship to the Marshallese

I saw a piece on “What’s Eating America “ on MSNBC about the Marshall Islands and their situation in the United States. I think it is shameful that the U.S. used the islands for testing atomic bombs, ruining the environment and the health of many residents, without adequate compensation or medical care. To make things worse, many residents moved to the U.S. where they work, often in low paying now “essential” jobs, and pay taxes but are not entitled to citizenship, so no voting rights or access to Medicare etc. We ruined their homeland as if we owned it and then left them in the lurch. I think it is past time to grant them citizenship and all the rights that come with it. Please help make things right. Thank you.
