Now is the time for Congress to step up and pass a bill giving all Americans the right to vote to by mail.
This epidemic highlights the need to protect democracy, to make sure regular order is maintained, that important elections can happen on schedule!
This has to include a provision for people to vote if they are homeless or for other reasons have no fixed address. For example, Native Americans on reservations where they don't have street names and house numbers. Do not shortchange citizens by setting up hurdles against voting.
We have the technology. It will be easier on all the states to vote by mail rather than maintaining polling stations and the attendant costs.
Please pass this important legislation now. Now is the time to do great things! Now is the time for Congress to step into the 21st century. There are Solutions available now that we never had before.
