Do-nothing Senate failure

Everyday in the Senate you are busy doing nothing. You talk to your lobbyists. You raise money for your campaign. You capitulate to your party's disaster. All to do nothing. All day everyday you ignore the crisis. All day everyday you pretend to be busy. All day everyday is spent covering your own backside hoping that you will survive to stay on this gravy train. You have free healthcare. You have a great salary and per diem and a travel budget. You have the ear of the media. You waste everything you have. That is: you do nothing that promotes the responsibility that was given you. Everything you do increases your own personal wealth at the expense of the citizens you pretend to represent. You should be deeply ashamed but your ego doesn't allow you to face your failure.
