As we continue to move forward through this pandemic, I know that the world is doing to look at the United States as less than a world power because of the way our leaders in this country reacted and implemented policy through a pandemic.
You, as a member of the congress, are on the list of reasons why we did not flourish through the pandemic with leadership.
The key decision making was not made in a united front. Decisions were made poorly from the top and that power was passed from the president, to governors, to municipal leaders, and ultimately on to business owners and citizens.
While I am for less government intervention as a whole, the pandemic is the time where we need leadership from the top to take charge.
This did not happen. Bottom line.
The penultimate failure to date is the president deciding to discontinue funding to the World Health Organization.
The president has never and will never be cut out to be the leader our country needs and deserves. Neither are you.
Your failure to stand up to this man and demand prudent reaction and policy during a world disaster is deplorable.
You have a chance to fix this. Listen to medical and scientific professionals, our economy is not more important than the humans that make it work.
Please keep humans at the forefront of your decision making. The people suffering the most are the test of your leadership. There are a lot of people suffering today.
Demand that funding be reinstated to the WHO.
I urge you to be the leader our population and world deserve.
