Keep our schools safe

As the pandemic surges, President Trump has demanded that schools open in the fall. Students, teachers, and staff do not have the protective gear they need to open safely. They need to reduce the number of students in each class, which means more teachers will be needed. They also need to hire people to help clean the building and equipment throughout the day. Protective gear and additional staff requires more funding, at a time when states like MO have reduced their education budget. Please consider an act to provide the funding and support schools need in order to open safely.
