Research has proven that mandates increase the likelihood that people will wear masks. They have also shown that wearing a mask cuts down on the transmission of contagions. There are 36 states in the U.S. that have a mask mandate. Protect your constituents! Require masks in public buildings and outdoors when social distancing is not possible.
