On September 23, President Trump was asked if he would commit to providing a peaceful transition of power after Election Day. He refused to do so. Instead, the President complained about ballots and then said "get rid of the ballots and... there won't be a transfer, frankly. There'll be a continuation."
The Atlantic reports that the Trump campaign is discussing "contingency plans to bypass election results and appoint loyal electors in battleground states where Republicans hold a legislative majority." If that happens, the United States will cease to be a constitutional republic and become something else. It can not be allowed to stand.
