Get S.42 to a vote for Background Checks

Today I take pen in hand to write and urge you once again to press your Republican colleagues to bring S.42 - the Background Checks Act - to a vote. Since the bill was introduced, along with similar measures in the House, over thirty-thousand Americans have died from Gun violence. I urge you to put out many more statements until the Majority Leader assents to putting the bill up for a vote. If it fails, we'll know why and what their names are.
