An open letter to the U.S. Senate

$75 billion for the USPS

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Please take urgent action to support the  Postmaster General’s request for financial relief to the tune of $75 billion in the next phase of the stimulus package - as it wasn’t passed in 3.5.    The request for:    a. $25 billion in direct funding b. $25 billion in "unrestricted borrowing authority from Treasury c. $25 billion in grants   Is merited, especially as the *USPS has been essential throughout COVID-19.* They’ve delivered medical supplies, medication, and are helping frontline medical providers access what they need, while also allowing Americans to stay home and stay-safe.    USPS will undoubtedly continue to play a critical role around COVID-19, whether it’s delivering essential stimulus and support checks to Americans, or the likely critical role they’ll play, in ensuring everyone has access to a vaccine. Finally, the USPS can help ensure individuals can take part in the democratic process of voting this November- because we ARE a country that still believes in democracy. Thank you.
