As your constituent, I'm asking you to oppose the GUARD Act, which claims to restrain big tech and AI but is really a pretext for surveillance, invasion of privacy, and cutting off young people’s access to “controversial” material - like all age-gating laws. Age-verification laws undermine free expression, privacy, and competition. The GUARD Act is no different. It would make the internet less free, less private, and less accessible—while consolidating power in the largest tech companies and pushing smaller developers out. Please oppose the GUARD Act today.
